Sealed Bids for the Pascagoula Sportsplex, Package 3 – Buildings project will be received by City of Pascagoula, at the at the Pascagoula City Hall, 603 Watts Avenue, Pascagoula, MS 39567
until 2:00 p.m., local time on March 12, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project consists of construction of two ground face concrete masonry block buildings with pre-engineered wood trusses. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, standing seam metal roofing, cement board soffits/ceilings, acoustic lay-in ceilings, cast-in-place concrete slabs, chain link fencing gates, as well as ancillary plumbing, mechanical and electrical work and site lighting, and other related work.

Bids will be received from a single prime Contractor. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the City Clerk of Pascagoula. If a bid is submitted by mail, the post office address of the City Clerk is P.O. Drawer 908, Pascagoula, Mississippi 39568-0908.

All bid envelopes should contain the bidder’s name and mailing address on the face of the envelope and shall specify the name of the bid package.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday (between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 5:30 P.M.) and Friday (between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and Noon). Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding documents are being made available via paper copy or pdf for a charge of $200.00 (hard copy) or $100.00 (CD). The cost for the bidding documents is non- refundable and must be purchased through the website. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., local time on February 28, 2019 at Pascagoula City Hall, Council Chambers, 603 Watts Avenue, Pascagoula, MS 39567. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

When submitting an electronic bid, the bid must be submitted in “pdf” format and shall contain the same information and forms as required for the paper bids. Electronic bids must be secured with a bid bond. When submitting a bid electronically, the authorized signature shall be an electronic signature or handwritten in blue-ink signature. In the event that an electronically submitted bid has a corrupted attachment, the bid will be considered null and void. When bids

are submitted electronically, the requirement for including a certificate of responsibility, or a statement that the bid enclosed does not exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), on the exterior of the bid envelope shall be deemed in compliance by including the same information as an attachment with the electronic bid submittal.
